Meet The Teacher
Hi Everyone, I live in Rock Rapids with my 2 adopted daughters Amira and Shaquita and our dogs Ace and Raya. I enjoy camping, reading, and spending time with my family. This will be my 15th year teaching but my 4th year at West Lyon. I am excited to get to know your child and help them develop through hands on activities and social learning.
Education
In May of 2008 I graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from South Dakota State University. I have endorsements in Special Education and Kindergarten. In December of 2020 I graduated with my Masters in Special Education with a focus on Autism and a certificate in Leadership from the University of Kansas.
